Three of our members will be discussing their day to day as a male pediatric nurse, each from a different perspective. If you’ve ever been interested in pediatric nursing, or wonder what their day to day is like, this is the event for you!
In honor of nurses week, we wanted to have a social potluck picnic at Madison Square Park! This is a great opportunity to meet other members from different areas of nursing and to grow your own personal network. We will be meeting by the seats near Shake Shack at 5pm. The mission of God’s Love We Deliver is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. GLWD prepares and delivers nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves.
Please note the new volunteer protocol
New Volunteer Protocol – Community members will not be permitted to volunteer if they do not feel well or if they are exhibiting any symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sneezing or fever. The Volunteer Department will be screening volunteers upon entry to the building to ensure that they are well and symptom-free. They will also have volunteers use hand sanitizer as they enter the building.
