Duties of the Membership Committee are 

 Develop and implement an annual plan for professional and academic membership recruitment 

 Serve as a liaison between the Chapter and the professional nursing community 

 Review new applicants for compliance with Bylaws regarding membership 

 Provide the Board with a current professional membership roster annually 

 Distribute membership expiration notices

Requirements for Nomination

 Nominee must be an active chapter member

 Nominee must complete a consent to serve form

 Nominee must agree to serve a 1 year term

 Nominee will submit a brief summary of the candidate’s professional qualifications including education and nursing experience, and goals for that office which they are seeking
