Duties of the Secretary shall include 

 Take, maintain, and distribute an accurate record of all Board and general membership meetings 

 Note attendance and present minutes for approval at meetings 

 Maintain an up-to-date roster of the members 

 Communicates meeting details, including topic, speaker, location, date, and time 

 Keep copies of all formal reports of the officers and Committee Chairpersons 

 Conduct official correspondence of the Chapter 

 Preserve all papers, letters, and transactions of the Chapter 

 Assist the President with quarterly newsletters 

 Orient the newly-elected Secretary 

 Submit a year-end report of charges (duties) and accomplishments no later than 30 days before the end of term to the President 

 Perform other such duties as designated by the Board 

Requirements for Nomination

 Nominee must be a chapter member with at least 2 years of service  

 Nominee must be a licensed Professional Registered Nurse

 Nominee must complete a consent to serve form

 Nominee must agree to serve a 2 year term

 Nominee will submit a brief summary of the candidate’s professional qualifications including education and nursing experience, and goals for that office which they are seeking
