Duties of the Treasure shall include:
Keep and maintain adequate and correct books and accounts of the business transactions of the Chapter. Such books and accounts shall be available to the Officers and/or Board within reasonable time.
Deposit all money and other valuables in the name and to the credit of the Chapter with such depositories as may be ordered by the Board.
Disburse initial and second notices of due renewal.
Disburse the funds of the Chapter as may be ordered by the Board.
Make available the yearly financial records to a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) upon the special request of the Board
Present the annual Chapter financial report consisting of income and expenses for the current year, and budget projections for the upcoming year to the Board for review and approval
Orient the newly-elected Treasurer
Submit a year-end report of charges (duties) and accomplishments no later than 30 days before the end of term to the President
Perform other such duties as designated by the Board
Requirements for Nomination
Nominee must be a chapter member with at least 2 years of service
Nominee must be a licensed Professional Registered Nurse
Nominee must complete a consent to serve form
Nominee must agree to serve a 2 year term
Nominee will submit a brief summary of the candidate’s professional qualifications including education and nursing experience, and goals for that office which they are seeking
